SPECIFIED COLLAPSIBLE WATER DAM
Shall be one inch in height, white in color, triangular shaped with water resistant strip integrated into recessed base channel for a flush adhesion to the shower floor. Water dam shall collapse under foot or wheelchair and shall provide maximum water control when coupled with a weighted shower curtain. The dam shall be a lab tested, non porous surface, meeting all anti-bacterial requirements of health care facilities. Collapsible water dam shall include matching white end caps model EX-1613 for shower applications with radius corners or model EX-1615 for shower applications with square corners for a watertight seal and tailored finish. For radius corner showers, the retainer size shall be the length of the inside opening of the stall plus six inches to allow dam to travel up the corner radius to a vertical position to assist the curtain to control water spillage in each corner.
SPECIFIED WEIGHTED SHOWER CURTAIN COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS
Shall be equipped with heavy tape weights in bottom seam engineered and tailored specifically for use in commercial barrier-free, curb-less, or low threshold shower stalls. The curtain must meet or exceed the following requirements. The width shall be a minimum of six inches greater than the pre-determined shower opening. The curtain length shall be a standard 72″ height unless custom specified and must touch the floor of the shower to effectively control water spillage. Material shall be a soft polyester fabric, standard color white, machine washable, splash resistant, bacterial resistant, stain resistant, and flame resistant. Material shall meet all state and federal code compliance regulations. Each curtain shall include twelve clear plastic hooks. SPECIFIED CAREGIVER ATTENDANT SHOWER CURTAIN
Shall be designed to shield caregiver attendant from water while allowing reachable access to assist bather. The curtain must meet or exceed the following requirements. Curtain shall be equipped with heavy tape weights in bottom seam to resist drifting, engineered and tailored specifically for use in commercial ADA barrier-free, curb-less and low threshold shower stalls or bathtubs. The width shall be 66” or a minimum six inches greater than a 60” shower opening to prevent water spillage in corners. The curtain length shall be at a standard care attendant 34″ height providing full side to side access within the shower stall. Curtain must be installed to touch the floor of the shower to effectively control water spillage. Material shall be a nylon fabric, standard color white, machine washable, splash, mildew and fungus resistant and shall include clear shower hooks.
