Established in 2003 by Kevin Ross and partner, KR Specialties manufactures and markets accessible product solutions. Inspired by a challenge from architectural teams designing senior living residences and healthcare facilities, KR Specialties developed water containment products to provide dry floor solutions. KR Specialties was awarded the bathing fixture industries first U.S patent (#7,055,188) for a water retention dam with finished end caps that helps promote a safer bathing environment. The KR Specialties Collapsible Water Dam & Weighted Shower Curtain have allowed designers to confidently specify curb-less and barrier free showers.
Kevin Ross is also the President and CEO of K Ross Company of Kingston, MA founded in 1991.
